How to play Fantasy F1
How to Play
Fantasy sports have been around for decades, and with the advancement of technology, playing fantasy sports has become more accessible than ever. If you are a fan of Formula One, you can now participate in F1 Fantasy and test your knowledge and prediction skills against other fans around the world. In this article, we will guide you through the steps of how to play Fantasy F1.
First and foremost, F1 Fantasy is free to play. You can create up to three teams, each consisting of 5 drivers and 2 constructors. The total cost of your team must stay within the $100m cost cap. Once you have created your team, you can give it a name and then log in using your F1 credentials or create a free F1 account when prompted.
After creating your team, it’s time to choose which driver will score double points. This is where the DRS Boost comes in. Pick one driver in your team to receive the DRS Boost, which will double their score for that Grand Prix. Any driver in your team can receive the DRS Boost, so choose wisely.
F1 Teams constantly bring upgrades for their cars, and you can also power-up your team with chips. Each chip will suit different situations throughout the season, whether it’s helping you make wholesale changes to your line-up or giving one driver a huge x3 score multiplier. There are six chips available, but each one can only be used once during the season, and you can only use one per race. So, make sure you choose carefully.
Fine-tuning your lineup for each race is also possible with transfers. You have two free transfers ahead of every race for each team that you manage. If you make more than the two transfers, each additional transfer will incur a 4-point penalty for your team. One unused free transfer will carry over to the next race.
Finally, F1 Fantasy is more fun when played with your friends and family. You can compete to win in the Global League and Mini-Leagues throughout the season. Join or create a public or private league and invite your friends to join. In the league settings, there’s a link so you can easily share the access code via email or social media. Please, feel free to join the “F1F” F1 Fantasy league by using the code P63TZ1C1V02 in the join/create league section or you can also join the F1F league by clicking here.
In conclusion, playing F1 Fantasy is an exciting way to enjoy Formula One racing. With the above guidelines and our stats pages, you can easily create your team, choose your drivers, constructors, and chips, and compete with other fans worldwide.
