One captivating event within the realm of F1 betting is the F1 Betting Tips Challenge. In this article, we explore the strategies and selections of three esteemed tipsters, Stephen, Luke, and Ant, as they strive to achieve profitability throughout the season. Join us on this journey as we delve into their insights and learn the secrets to F1 betting success.
Understanding the F1 Betting Tips Challenge:
The F1 Betting Tips Challenge showcases the expertise and analytical prowess of Stephen, Luke, and Ant. Prior to each race, these tipsters invest 10 points in carefully selected bets, with a crucial rule in place: all selections must have odds over 1.5. This rule ensures that the focus remains on identifying value within the betting markets, maximizing the potential for profitable outcomes.
Here’s how the current profit and loss looks for the season so far:
Stephen: -14.80 Points
Luke: -0.28 Points
Ant: -23.54 Points
Who will come out on top of the F1 BETTING TIPS CHALLENGE?
Luke’s Selections:
Podium Finish – Fernando Alonso – Odds 2.37 – 2 Points
With the upgrades coming to Aston Martin I have no doubt that the old fox Alonso will be back on the podium this weekend
Number of Safety Cars – Over 1.5 – Odds 2.50 – 2 Points
I think there will be a few incidents in this tricky track at Silverstone and with a few fast corners I believe some drivers might come together
To Win Outright – Lewis Hamilton – Odds 12.00 – 4 Points
Going big this weekend to see Sir Lewis Hamilton on the top step of the podium, what a sight that would be, and where better for Hamilton to win a race than his home GP
To Lead a Lap – Lewis Hamilton – Odds 2.00 – 2 Points
As mentioned above I believe Hamilton will win this weekend and will naturally lead a few laps in the race
Ant’s Selections:
Podium Finish – Charles Leclerc – Odds 2.25 – 2 Points
After a strong showing in Austria, I feel that Leclerc will take his form into the British grand prix. He was unlucky to miss out on a podium last year, and I feel he will produce a solid drive this time around
Fastest in Practice 1 – Sergio Perez – Odds 6.00 – 4 Points
I’m simply praying that someone breaks the Max Verstappen dominance of every practice, qualifying and race win recently. Sergio is in the same car. Maybe they will let him have something… Maybe?
Q2 winning Margin – Between 0.1 and 0.25 seconds – 3.00 – 2 Points
I’ve gone down something a bit different here. Qualifying 2 might be a bit more competitive at the top, or rather, Max may not feel the need to push as much
Points Finish – Valtteri Bottas – 4.33 – 2 Points
I like Bottas. I want him to do well. That’s really my only reason for this bet. I’ve given up betting on Hulk and Mag finishing in the points, so Bottas is my new bandwagon to go on (this is where I cry as both Hulk and Mag finish in the points, and Bottas crashes at the first corner)
Stephen’s Selections:
Total Classified Drivers – Over 18.5 – Odds 2.62 – 3 Points
Having not seen many DNFs this season and some of the toughest races have passed, I think only seeing one unclassified driver at over even money is a bet worth having. This tip was also taken from Ant’s British GP Betting Review.
Points Finish – Nico Hulkenberg – Odds 3.5 – 2 Points
I’m simply on this as Ant has finally decided to stop backing the Haas drivers so I feel their luck can finally come in. Both Haas also managed the top 10 in last year’s British GP.
Points Finish – Oscar Piastri -Odds 2.5 – 3 Points
Oscar will be eager to show what he can do in his Mclaren when he gets the upgrades this weekend, we saw last weekend how Lando was able to fight and stay with the front runners and I expect Oscar to grab himself some strong points this weekend.
Car to set the fastest lap – Mercedes – Odds 6.0 – 2 points
Simply put Mercedes have some upgrades coming again this weekend and will want to leave a mark on this race. I can’t see them surpassing Max and Red Bull even without them bringing upgrades but I feel either Hamilton or Russell will be in a good position to make sure they bring home the fastest lap point.
