Nico Hulkenberg

Nico Hulkenberg is a German racing driver currently racing for the Haas F1 Team. He was born on August 19, 1987, in Emmerich am Rhein, Germany.

Hulkenberg began his racing career in karting before moving up to Formula BMW and Formula 3. He won the Formula 3 Euro Series championship in 2008 and made his Formula One debut with Williams in 2010.

After stints with Force India, Sauber, and Renault, Hulkenberg found himself without a full-time seat for the 2020 season. However, he was called up as a last-minute replacement for Sergio Perez at Racing Point (now Aston Martin) for two races after Perez tested positive for COVID-19. Hulkenberg impressed in both races, qualifying in the top three and finishing in the points.

Despite not having a full-time seat for the 2021 season, Hulkenberg remains a highly respected driver in the F1 paddock. Haas took their chance on bringing him back to the grid for the 2023 season, and his experience and skill make him a valuable asset to the American team.
